On the morning of 23rd July, Anqing Foreign Language School held the 3rd Session International Education Exchange Seminar in Anqing City, other known as Anqing Foreign Language School’s 1st Session Farewell Meeting designated for graduates from the study-abroad class. In attendance were Director General Chen Yaling with Municipal Education& Sports Bureau, Section Chief Fang Min with the Basic Education Office, school representatives in Anqing City, Anqing Foreign Language School’s President Madam Huang Wenli in addition to over 60 students and their parents.
To begin with, Anqing Foreign Language School’s President Madam Huang Wenli delivered a welcome speech at the rap session to show her gratitude for the concern and support from Municipal Education& Sports Bureau towards Anqing Foreign Language School’s international education exchange activities.
Afterwards, Director Xu Zuitai with the International Department introduced detailed information in terms of Anqing Foreign Language School’s international education communication.
Furthermore, keynote speeches were conducted respectively by school representatives from Anqing No.1 Middle School, Anqing No.2 Middle School, No.1 Middle School of Anqing Petrol Chemical Works of China, Anqing No.7 Middle School and Anqing No.9 Middle School.
What’s more, Director General Chen Yaling with the Education& Sports Bureau and Section Chief Fang Min with the Basic Education Office issued keynote speeches regarding Anqing Foreign Language School’s international communication situation to convey significant instructions from municipal government on the better management of Anqing Foreign Language School’s study-abroad class.
In addition, during the farewell meeting, head teacher Yao Fengling with the 2017 study-abroad class summarized students’ learning and living conditions over the past two years. Besides, students and parent representatives as well as International Department Director Xu Zuitai respectively made speeches. Afterwards, students with the study-abroad class brought about a small chorus named ‘Farewell’ before their departure.
Last but not the least, Anqing Foreign Language School’s President Madam Huang Wenli issued a farewell speech in which Madam President expressed her affirmation towards the achievements made by the study-abroad class. Also, Madam President showcased her congratulations to students’ further studies in America and put forward hopes and requirements in the meantime. After the ardent speech, Madam President presented souvenirs to students as well.
In a nutshell, the conference concluded in a satisfactory way owing to the most commanding height, the greatest vision and meticulous preparation from Anqing Foreign Language School’s school leadership in addition to the support from division leaders with Municipal Education& Sports Bureau, various senior high schools in Anqing City as well as students and their parents with the study-abroad class.
